Known as tlaxcalli in ancient times, tortilla has been a staple food in ancient Mexico since 3,500 years ago. 

Komali has reached that exact point that gives the tortillas its authentic flavour, just like buying them in a market in Mexico.

The nixtamalization process that tortillas go through significantly enriches the nutritional value of maize as a source of vitamins, minerals (calcium) and protein.

How to use them:

Tortillas taqueras can be used to prepare assorted types of street tacos, like pastor, bistec, campechanos, gringas, alambres and  many more. They have the perfect size to eat assorted tacos for late lunch or dinner.

How to warm them: 

Open the package, warm them on a pan. When warmed in microwave, put some in a lightly damp clean cloth, put inside a plastic bag and warm for approx. 30 seconds.

Hoe ze te gebruiken:

Tortilla's taqueras kunnen worden gebruikt om verschillende soorten straattaco's te bereiden, zoals pastor, bistec, campechanos, gringas, alambres en nog veel meer. Ze hebben de perfecte maat om diverse taco's te eten voor een late lunch of diner.

Hoe ze te verwarmen:

Open de verpakking, verwarm ze in een pan. Wanneer opgewarmd in de magnetron, doe wat in een licht vochtige, schone doek, doe het in een plastic zak en verwarm het ongeveer. 30 seconden.

Storage / Bewaaradvies: 

Store in a dry, cool place. Once opened, keep refrigerated inside a sealed container.

Bewaar op een droge, koele plaats. Eenmaal geopend, gekoeld bewaren in een afgesloten container.
